Amulet Rigid and Hydraulic Thumbs for Case Backhoes & Excavators

Amulet offers the widest selection of rigid and hydraulic thumbs for Case backhoes. Many years of Case backhoes covered. Rigid, Upgradeable to Hydraulic, Hydraulic Powerbrute with Independent Pin, Powerclamp, a shared-pin thumb and Amulet’s patented HOECLAMP, a mechanical non-hydraulic full-motion thumb that operates on linkage (for select model carriers). All standard Amulet Thumbs come mounted on a weld-on baseplate, which makes installation simple, faster, more accurate, and stronger.

BRUT  Best Rigid Universal Thumb

For non-hydraulic thumbs, the Amulet BRUT (Best Rigid Universal Thumb leads the pack with its own main pin, mounted on a weld-on base plate. Some models of these thumbs for Case backhoes are upgradeable to hydraulic.

Powerbrute – Hydraulic Universal Pin Thumb on a weld-on baseplate

The unique universal design of the Amulet hydraulic PowerBrute provides an inexpensive, solidly built hydraulic thumb that fits most makes and models of machines old and new. Remote main-pin means it works great with all Buckets & Quick Couplers, makes changing buckets & other attachments a breeze… no need to remove thumb. Features an Independent main pin, a weld-on base plate. Wide Rotation – 100% USA-made, Two-year Warranty – Easy to install: approx. 4 hours to position & weld.

The Powerbrute thumb can be curled independent of the bucket (demolition, rock placement, land clearing, etc). When not in use the PowerBrute is hydraulically stored tightly against dipper stick.

EASY INSTALLATION! Amulet offers many models. Each model is designed to cover a specific segment of machines that range between 2,500 – 100,000 lbs.
– Universal fit weld-on base
– Two-Tine Thumb
– Wide range of rotation
– Independent, heat-treated main pin

Powerclamp, shared-pin style thumbs for Case Backhoes.

Shared pin thumbs are frequent. A new, longer bucket pin will ship with your Amulet Powerclamp. Linkage models have a higher degree of rotation than non-linkage models. Amulet often recommends their Powebrute models which have their own main pin, allowing bucket changes to be made without pulling the independent pin of the Powerbrute. (Note: No Powerclamps available for Case 580 series, due to limited possible rotation geometry.

Amulet Hoeclamp – the patented full-motion mechanical thumb, fits some Case 580 backhoes only.

Amulet built their name with the famous Hoeclamp. For Hoeclamps for Case 580B, 580D, 580E, standard or extendahoes, see this link.

Tip Radius Dimensions are needed for all orders.

To assure we provide the correct thumb, please provide two Tip Radius Dimensions. Measure from the center of the main stick-to-bucket pin (the pin that the bucket swivels on, not the pin that pushes the bucket curl), to the cutting edge and to the end of the teeth if present. If a coupler is present, measure from the stick-to-coupler pin. The measurement/s can be done with the bucket in any position as the radius dimension remains constant. You don’t need to provide the dimensions to order but Amulet needs them to complete the build.

Always include your carrier model brand and type when inquiring/ordering.

Equipmentland is the main online dealer for Amulet Manufacturing. Located in Idaho, Amulet Thumbs other than ST Series Thumbs for mini excavators ship within 7-10 days. ST Series Thumbs are in stock for shipment departure within a day. To see all the other Amulet Products, see the Amulet category page on this site.
