McLaughlin 2.5″ x 60′ Moleing Kit for Mighty Mole Horizontal boring attachment for skid steers, mini skid steers and mini excavators. Photo shows rods only, kit includes as listed herein.  Add additional size reamers for larger bores.

Standard rods are adequate, unless operator does not let the boring head do the work. Hydraulics can run too fast or too much pressure, possibly bending a standard rod. HD Rods may add considerable lead time when ordering.

Want to Bore Larger Diameters? Add additional Reamers.

Add optional reamers for your Moleing Kit. Here’s how it works: You bore 1 /4″. From the far pit, you attach the 2.5″ reamer with the “chinese finger” and pull the reamer and the pipe back to you. If you want a 3.5″ bore you send the rod again to the far pit, attach the 3.5″ reamer and pull back. Do the same with a 4.5″ reamer which requires a 3.5″ bore first. If you want to ream to 4.5″ you need both the 3.5″ and the 4.5″ as you need to increase gradually.
