The kit model comes complete with blank lugging for the customer’s welder to shape to cut and weld to the profile of their bucket, about a four hour job; or the Bucket-Thumb can be ordered ready-to-go with any nearly any custom made bucket or rake configuration. Thumb and cylinder are attached directly to the quick-couple bracket.

Offered in two sizes and prices, either as a customer-installed kit model or packaged with a bucket for a backhoe or medium-sized excavators. Custom versions are available for mini excavator or large excavators of any weight class.

Each unit ordered will be built and shipped to fit the intended bucket width and tip radius. The hydraulic cylinder which operates the thumb is shorter and thicker than the commonly used cylinders operating conventional thumbs. This means the unit is more compact with no fixtures on the bottom of the stick. The Bucket-Thumb can be used with any popular bucket quick coupler on the market. Changing buckets only requires the additional manual connection of hydraulic hose flush face couplers. For operators with carriers requiring frequent bucket changes.
