Excavator Demolition Rakes
Thre’s an Amulet Demolition Rake available to fit virtually all bachoe and excavator machines to 100,000 lbs. Used in conjunction with any of Amulet’s or other rigid, mechanical, or hydraulic thumbs, is an inexpensive way to create a grapple in just minutes without the investment of limited-use, dedicated clam or “orange peel” grapples.
Combined with an Amulet thumb, the combination becomes a type of grapple.
An Amulet rake, matched with an Amulet Brut Rigid Thumb, or Powerbrute independent-pin-style hydraulic thumb, or a shared-pin style thumb (Powerclamp), the result is an open-tine grapple that surpasses all standard grapples in its ability to be controlled. Additionally, they can be fit to thumbs from manufacturers other than Amulet. Overall, the Amulet Rake can easily handle everyday applications up to and including extreme-duty jobs such as demolition, boulder, and log handling projects. Ships from Idaho. Usually, one to two-week lead time.
NOTE: These rakes are considered heavy-duty Demolition Rakes, not to be confused with lightweight brush rakes — though they certainly work in the brush.

Your backhoe or excavator brand and model is required.
Number of Tines on the Rake for your machine
As a rule, with limited exception, Amulet rakes for machines under 20,000 pounds have three tines. For machines over 20,000 pounds, they have three to six tines. Most Amulet rakes are designed to mesh between the tines of a thumb, so the number of tines on a thumb usually determines how many tines the rake would have and the overall rake width on machines over 20,000 pounds.
Ordering an Amulet Rake
Forms: Since Amulet Rakes literally replace and are interchangeable with your bucket, it is necessary to fill out bucket dimension forms. The rake will therefore be built to clone the features of whatever bucket your existing thumb currently meshes with. Please fill out the spec sheets below so Amulet can guarantee rake fit. Equipmentland sales will help you order the correct rake.
“Tip Radius Dimension” is required to assure fit. Amulet needs this to proceed with your order. First, measure the distance from the center of the main bucket pin to the end of the teeth of your bucket. Then measure to the bucket cutting edge. Measure with the bucket in any position as the distance remains constant. If a Quick Coupler for changing buckets is present, measure from the center of the main pin where the coupler connects to the stick…to the cutting edge/teeth of bucket. |
Shipping Costs: Keep in mind that the number of tines and thus the relative weight for shipping quotes, are both based on whatever thumb you are using the rake opposite of (unless you don’t have an existing thumb). We can only estimate shipping weight since the actual weight could vary widely depending on the number of tines required. Just one tine added could add 250 lbs. or more to a rake’s weight, and to the shipping weight and additional relative shipping cost.
